We have a lot of fruit trees around our yard and a ton of birds to go with them. I thought it might be a good idea to try some bird seed balls and bait them away from our driveway to the back of the yard. These are really easy to make. Just take a pine cone and wrap some string around it and then coat it with a peanut butter-shortening mixture. Roll it in wild bird seed and freeze for later! This also works great with stale bagels if you have them and the birds will go crazy for them.
