Cute idea, I’ve seen people do this with window screen as well for a finer mesh.
The plastic canvas is used for needle/yarn crafts. You can do different stitches and cut the canvas into shapes to make essentially 3D cross-stitch. They were really popular years ago to make stuff like tissue box or door-stop covers, coasters, etc.

I like to spray tissue flowers with perfume – the smell great! And when the smell goes away after a few days, simply spray again. These also make great teacher gifts.

Yes, the “7ft piece” of cord wraps around the smaller “wrist piece”. Find the center of the 7ft piece to start your first knot.
